By Binns Rebecca

Did you know…?

A pack of kittens is called a kindle?

Or that the average adult dog has 42 teeth?

If you love animals and you love trivia, then we’ve got some great news for you!

FRIDAY 25 AUGUST 6:30PM – CLAWS N PAWS TRIVIA NIGHT

What is Claws N Paws?

Claws N Paws is a local, not-for-profit rescue organisation. Founder, Christina Pirie started the group in 2012 with the hope of providing abandoned and neglected animals with safe and caring homes until they could be adopted. The dedicated volunteers of Paws N Claws come from all over NSW, and they have assisted in the fostering and rehoming of over 5000 animals. With the help of donations and local veterinary clinics, Paws N Claws is also able to make sure that animals waiting to be adopted receive the health care they need, including de-sexing and micro chipping.

Opt to Adopt

In July, Mingara was lucky enough to host Claws N Paws for their “Opt to Adopt” adoption day. The event resulted in an astounding ** adoptions! A fantastic result, thanks to the tireless efforts of foster carers and the generosity of the Central Coast community.
