Works will commence on Wednesday 26 April and are expected to be finished by late August. The first phase of construction will be to the female amenities. We appreciate your support during the construction and are working hard to minimise the impact on our Mingara Aquatics visitors.
“With the support of our community, Mingara has worked tirelessly to provide the Central Coast with the very best in sporting facilities. We are excited to be able to jointly fund and provide the development of seating and shading for Mingara Regional Athletics Centre and an upgrade of amenities at Mingara Aquatics for our community,” commented Sarah Ferman, Mingara’s Sport and Community Manager.
The Federal Government, Community Development Grants Program, delivered by the Department of Infrastructure and Regional Development has provided joint funding for the development of the seating and shading area on the western side of the Mingara Regional Athletics facility and refurbishment to amenities at Mingara Aquatics to the value of $500,000. In addition, Mingara Recreation Club will invest $464,554
Where will I get changed?
As we change, so will where you get changed! Plenty of signage will be in place to let you know what changes are happening. The Mingara Aquatics team are only too happy to help with directions and any queries. The construction will not interfere with any activities in the pools. Squad, Learn to Swim, classes, laps and leisure swimming will be as per usual.
