The Gatorade Regional Athletics Centre is a world class synthetic track and field athletics centre and national standard playing field.
The facility attracts some 6,000 casual visitors per month and in addition is the home for Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Little Athletics Club, Mingara Athletics Club, Central Coast Region of Athletics NSW and the Central Coast Mariners Soccer Club. School athletic carnivals from many schools throughout the Central Coast Region book to use the facility, with this number growing each year.
Since its official opening on 5 November 2000, the Gatorade Regional Athletics Centre has received wide media exposure, which highlights both the unique funding partnership which evolved between Central Coast Athletics, Wyong Shire Council, Gosford City Council, the NSW Government and Mingara Recreation Club and the individual events which have been held at the venue to date.
The Centre has already received high accolades from NSW Wheelchair Sports, NSW Sports Council for the Disabled and the NSW Institute of Sport.
