2010 Category 1 Funding Applications

As part of its ongoing commitment to the community Mingara Recreation Club in inviting applications for funding under the Community Development and Support Expenditure (CDSE) Scheme, Category 1 Funding.

Group Eligible for funding are those who contribute to the welfare and the broader social fabric in the local area and aim to improve the living standards of low income and disadvantaged people. Projects must be below $8,000.

Projects in the following categories could qualify for Category 1 Funding;

• Community Welfare and Social Services
• Community Development
• Community Health Services
• Employment Assistance Activities

Funding Applications for programs, projects and services assisting people with disabilities, older people, people from non-English speaking backgrounds, aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders, women and young people are particularly encouraged.
