“Showcasing Central Coast young leaders making a difference in their
local community”

Mingara is pleased to present 18 young leaders (up from 12 in 2008) from the 2010 Max Potential Program. These students from 6 Central Coast campuses, along with their personal leadership coaches, came together on Monday 22 February and began planning their individual pathways to success. Their journey will in the program will culminate in the Showcase Workshop on Tuesday 10 August 2010.

The Max Potential Program has been created by a joint initiative between Mingara, ClubsNSW and the Future Achievement Australia Foundation and aims to reverse the trend of a lack of purpose in the lives of youth in our region.

Max Potential draws on leaders/professionals within the community to volunteer for training as leadership coaches. The training equips the community coaches with progressive coaching skills and tools that are then used to provide mentoring and coaching to youths so they can:

  • ACCELERATE their potential
  • CHALLENGE them to lift their game
  • BUILD their can do attitude through a community project
  • EXPLORE their entrepreneurial spirit
