The “Central Coast Lapidary, Crystal, Gem & Jewellery Show”

The show has been presented at Mingara Event Centre, for more than 10 years annually over 2 days on a weekend in October and is the major fundraiser for the Central Coast Lapidary Club Inc. This is a not-for-profit club run by volunteers providing community access for learning all facets of lapidary and allied crafts. Talented club members provide teaching of cabbing (cutting, shaping & polishing of rocks), faceting of gems, jewellery making including silver work, casting, enamelling, carving and beading sessions are all available.
At entry to The Show Room, is the popular Central Coast Lapidary Club Inc. raffle showcase with great prizes and tickets available for purchase and also a great photo opportunity for the children with a large face cutout of a fossicker to use.
The Show Room Pre function area showcases the Central Coast Lapidary Club Inc. with display cases of amazing items hand made by members. There are also tables with interesting rocks, minerals, crystals, beading tables with beautiful handmade necklaces, bracelets and earrings all available for purchase. You might even be motivated to become a member of the club where you can learn to craft & make your own items and jewellery.
The Show Room has many local & interstate dealers assembled with an amazing display and quality items available for purchase. Each dealer has something different with a great variety of rocks, geodes, crystals, minerals, gemstones, opals, stone carvings, lapidary tools & equipment, beautiful jewellery, fluorescent rocks and other beautiful treasures displayed.
