Athletics Centre

A unique regional facility.

World-class

Mingara Regional Athletics Centre is a world-class synthetic track and field athletics centre and national standard playing field.

The facility attracts some 6,000 casual visitors per month and is also home to the Central Coast Academy of Sport, Tuggerah Lakes Mingara Little Athletics Club and Mingara Athletics Club.

Opening Hours:

Monday              Closed

Tuesday              3.30pm – 7.30pm

Wednesday       3.30pm – 7.30pm

Thursday            3.30pm – 7.30pm

Friday                  Closed

Saturday             8.00am – 12.00pm

Sunday               Closed

 

Please note the track will close early at 10:30am Saturday 11 November.

 

The Track will be closed over Christmas from Friday 22 December 2023 and will re-open Tuesday 2nd January 2024.

 

PRICES 

Casual visits:

  • Adult entry $7.00
  • Child 5-17 years old / concession $5.00

Weekly Membership:

We are excited to introduce an unlimited entry weekly pass paid via direct debit. This will cost $7 per week (adult 18-59) and $5 (child 5-17/concession 60+). Direct Debit users must be a Member of Mingara Recreation Club.

Members of Mingara will now get access to a 10% discount on food and beverages at the track kiosk, and will also earn Reward Points on purchases.

Great news!

Access to the Track is now included in your Mingara One Membership, including Fitness Passport Members. Please bring your Membership card and swipe at the kiosk on each visit.

A unique facility

Since its official opening on 5 November 2000, Mingara Regional Athletics Centre has received wide media exposure.

It highlights both the unique funding partnership which evolved between Central Coast Athletics, Wyong Shire Council, Gosford City Council, the NSW Government and Mingara Recreation Club and the individual events which have been held at the venue to date.

The Centre has also received high accolades from NSW Wheelchair Sports, NSW Sports Council for the Disabled and the NSW Institute of Sport.

Bookings for school, community and sporting groups.

Many schools throughout the Central Coast region use the facility for athletics carnivals, with this number growing each year. The centre is available for bookings seven days a week, from 7.00 am to 9.00 pm. Submit an enquiry below for further information around bookings.
