The Mobile Blood Unit
The Gosford Area Mobile Blood Unit visits Mingara every 12 weeks, where Mingara staff, members and the local community can book in to donate blood.
Red25
In 2017, Mingara Recreation Club joined the Red25 Groups on the Central Coast. Red25 is a unique blood giving program by the Australian Red Cross Blood Service that unites workplaces, local community, groups, schools and more around Australia to save lives through blood donation. Proudly Mingara staff and Mingara Members made 60 blood donations to save 180 lives. These donations have enabled Mingara recreation Club to sit at #1 for Red25 organisations in the Gosford Mobile Blood Unit area.
Join our Red25 crew!
Do you donate blood? It does not matter where you donate or even how often. If you would like to join our Red25 crew – registration is simple.
- Join. Donors join your Red25 group online using their Donor ID number.
- Donate. Every time your members give blood it automatically counts towards your group’s tally.
We can then help keep track of our total number of donations and number of lives saved.
