In their first show together — and for a strictly limited time — these Australian music legends present the timeless songs of one of the world’s greatest living songwriters, Paul Simon.
Paul Simon has written some of the most celebrated songs in popular music history, including classics such as The Sound of Silence, The Boxer, Homeward Bound and Bridge Over Troubled Water, as well as solo favourites like You Can Call Me Al, Late in the Evening, Still Crazy After All These Years and Graceland. His albums Bridge Over Troubled Water and Graceland rank among the highest-selling albums of all time.
Joined by an all-star band, Wendy and Grace will take audiences on an unforgettable journey through these iconic hits and crowd favourites. Friends for many years, the pair have long dreamed of joining forces on stage, and We’re Going to Graceland – The Songs of Paul Simon showcases their extraordinary vocal talents, musical chemistry and shared love for these legendary songs.

ABOUT THE ARTISTS
Wendy Matthews
Wendy Matthews arrived in Australia in 1982 and quickly established herself as one of the country’s most in-demand session singers, performing on albums by Jimmy Barnes, Tim Finn, Richard Clapton and Icehouse. After collaborating with Kate Ceberano on the soundtrack for the ABC series Stringer, Wendy went on to form Absent Friends, scoring a number one hit with I Don’t Want to Be with Nobody but You and releasing the album Here’s Looking Up Your Address.
Her solo career has spanned ten albums, including Émigré (Double Platinum), Lily (over 500,000 sales) and The Witness Tree (Platinum). Wendy has won nine ARIA Awards, including six as a solo artist, cementing her place as one of Australia’s most respected performers.
Grace Knight
Grace Knight arrived in Australia in 1977 after singing her way across the world. In the 1980s, she rose to international fame as the lead singer of Eurogliders, touring Australia, New Zealand, North America and Japan. The band achieved two platinum albums (This Island and Absolutely), five Top 20 singles, and performed to a live television audience of 65 million on MTV’s New Year’s Eve broadcast.
In 1990, Grace teamed up with Vince Jones on the soundtrack for the ABC series Come In Spinner, which became the highest-selling Australian jazz album of all time. She followed this with the platinum-selling, ARIA Award-winning Stormy Weather and has since released a further seven solo albums. Grace has been nominated for ARIA Awards across three decades and has performed for two Royal Families, five Prime Ministers and a US President.
