Summer sizzler – it’s back!

After the fun, fitness and friendly competition of this year’s event, The “Summer Sizzler” is back again for another year in 2018.

5 workout challenge

Get ready to challenge yourselves, your friends and even your family at the 2018 event. Expect five short workouts to test your overall fitness. Participants will challenge their overall fitness level through various movements and workout styles.  Expect the unexpected.

Come one come all

The event is open to all Mingara One Fitness members and our friends from Fitness Passport. The competition will run in same-sex pairs format. The competition is aimed at ALL levels of fitness, no matter your age or ability. It’s about fun, trying something different and setting your self a new challenge. 

What happens on the day

Sign in – warm up, listen to the challenges and get ready to play! The event truly is for everyone. Whether you are first, last or somewhere in between, the spirit of the day is all about celebrating that you are trying something new. The environment is about getting in and having a go. Challenge your self to do one more rep then you usually would; go one second faster – maybe even two! Need some training tips? Just ask me – Ben, to help you out with some hints and tips. Loads of trainers and familiar faces from Mingara One Fitness will be there on the day to help you out, motivate and support you.

Get your registration in!

Registrations will open 9 am 11 December 2017. Register through www.wodbuzz.com and will cost teams $60 ($30 per person) to enter. Entry fee includes Summer Sizzler 2018 entry fee, exclusive competitors only T-shirt and a celebratory BBQ lunch. Prizes will be awarded for those who place 1st, 2nd & 3rd in their respective divisions.
