Important Update: Mingara’s Christmas Under the Stars
This isn’t the news we hoped to share, but we want you to hear it directly from us.
Sadly, we must inform you that Mingara’s Christmas Under the Stars will not be going ahead this year.
As part of the club’s ongoing process to renew its lease for the management and operation of the Mingara Regional Athletics Centre, we recently learned that hosting an event the size of Christmas Under the Stars would exceed the allowable capacity of the facility. With this new information, it’s important that we comply with all regulations and operating requirements to ensure we meet our obligations in managing this great facility on behalf of the community.
We understand how much this event means to our team and to families across the Coast. It has been a cherished tradition that brings us all together to celebrate the magic of Christmas, and we share in your disappointment.
While Christmas Under the Stars won’t proceed this year, there are still wonderful local events where our community can come together in festive spirit. Carols at The Park will be held on Christmas Eve at Memorial Park, The Entrance, proudly sponsored by The Greens, The Entrance. In addition, a new Carols event will be held at Polytec Stadium in Gosford on Saturday 20 December.
