How are the exercises scaled?
We’ve had a couple of people ask what they do if they are unable to do T2B in event Number 1, so iI thought I’d explain.
Each event will have a scaled version, meaning that the weight will be lighter and the movements a little easier.
On the day if you are opting to scale your workout YOU MUST make sure to let your judge know prior to the workout starting so we can make sure you have the correct weight for your workout. Both team members must agree on this as they will both be completing the workout at the same weight. If you choose to scale the workout your score will place below any teams who opt to do the standard version of the workout (even if they only complete 1 rep of the standard version).
Scaled Version – 9 mins to complete
- 200m Farmers Carry @ 16/12kg
- 100 Double Kettlebell Deadlifts @ 16/12kg
- 50 Kettlebell Swings @ 16/12kg
- In any remaining time complete as many reps as possible of:
Hanging Knee Raises
Both the Standard Version & Scaled version of the workout will be scored as follows
