OzHarvest is Australia’s leading food rescue organisation. They help save food from going to waste by giving it to community groups, charities and people in need.
Over 7.6 million tonnes of food goes to waste in Australia each year. That equates to roughly a third of all food produced going to waste. The OzHarvest program benefits the environment as there is less food waste going to landfill.
Sunny, the new Central Coast OzHarvest truck will greatly increase capacity to provide fresh produce and food in our local community.
